With a passion for creativity and a commitment to excellence, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients.Job Summary:We are a fast-growing branded merchandise distributor seeking an experienced Director of Sales / Sales Manager to lead, structure, and scale our revenue organization.This is a newly created leadership role. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in the promotional products industry and a strong track record of managing sales representatives, account managers, and coordinators. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving margins, implementing process and accountability, and building a high-performance culture.This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution.Key Responsibilities:Revenue Leadership & Growth Strategy:• Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy to grow revenue• Set annual revenue targets by individual and team• Drive new business development initiatives• Improve organic account growth strategies• Monitor pipeline health and forecasting accuracy• Identify new vertical markets and expansion opportunitiesTeam Leadership & Performance Management:· Lead and manage Sales Representatives, Account Managers, and Coordinators• Establish clear roles, expectations, and KPIs• Conduct weekly pipeline and performance meetings• Coach team members on prospecting, margin management, and strategic selling• Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales talentProcess & Operational Structure:• Implement standardized sales processes from prospecting through execution· Create accountability metrics for quoting, margin protection, and follow-up• Ensure CRM adoption and reporting accuracy• Improve cross-department collaboration• Identify inefficiencies and build scalable systemsMargin & Financial Oversight:• Protect and improve gross margin performance• Monitor discounting practices• Review large quotes and strategic proposals• Forecast revenue and profitabilityCulture & Accountability:Build a performance-driven but collaborative cultureShift team mindset from order-taking to proactive sellingCreate development plans for high-potential team membersEstablish professional standards and client service excellence Qualifications:• 7–10+ years of experience in the promotional products industry• 3–5+ years managing a sales team• Proven ability to scale revenue in a $5M–$25M distributor environment• Strong understanding of sourcing platforms (ASI, SAGE, Distributor Central)• Deep knowledge of margin management and pricing strategy• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills• Strategic thinker with operational disciplineBenefits:Competitive compensation with commission and bonus opportunitiesOngoing training and professional development401(k) Contribution and Profit SharingHealth insuranceUnlimited Paid Time-Off after (1) yearHybrid WorkplaceFun and collaborative team Application Process:Interested candidates should submit their resume to chris.faris@boostpromo.com Boost Promotions is an equal opportunity employer.
