Our role in the supply chain is to coordinate the flow of materials and equipment from manufacturers to the electric power companies who serve underserved communities. Our operations are in West Columbia, SC and Glen Allen, VA, allowing us to conveniently serve our member-owners, the electric cooperatives, as well as municipal and investor-owned utilities. We proudly offer next-day delivery to our members via our fleet of trucks or common carrier. To best serve our customers, CEEUS offers tool repair services, lineman PPE testing, as well as emerging technologies such as broadband fiber optics and electric vehicle charging equipment.We supply the needs of those who power our worldJob ResponsibilitiesOperate company vehicles (primarily CDL Class A) to complete daily deliveries and pickupsLoad and unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks as neededPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehiclesEnsure cargo is properly secured and complies with DOT safety standardsCommunicate professionally with customers upon delivery and obtain required signatures or documentationMaintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and records in accordance with DOT regulations and company policyFollow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all timesReport any delays, accidents, mechanical issues, or route changes to dispatch or supervisorAssist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as neededRepresent CEEUS in a courteous and professional manner at all customer locationsWorking Location and ConditionsBased in Glen Allen, VA, with daily travel throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DelawareHome daily positionStandard working hours are Monday through Friday with early morning startsOccasional overtime or adjusted schedules may be required based on route demandRequires the ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditionsRequires sitting, driving, climbing, and frequent movement in and out of the truckRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDValid CDL Class A licenseClean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulationsAbility to load and unload trucks and operate forklifts and pallet jacksDemonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and excellent customer serviceBenefits:Company-funded pension401(k) with company matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePrescription drug coveragePaid time off (PTO)Paid holidays
