Travel RN - Telemetry - Intermediate Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC/Stepdown (Intermediate Care) position requiring prior travel experience, ED boarding care experience, and passage of an EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam.Job Details• Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown unit within a hospital setting,• Cares for admitted patients with varying diagnoses who are boarding in the ED while awaiting inpatient bed placement,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,• Every other weekend required,• Floating is required,Job Requirements• Active DC RN license required,• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• Prior IMC/Stepdown experience required,• Prior travel nursing experience required,• ED boarding experience required,• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms,• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,Additional Information• Provides care to admitted patients boarding in the ED with varying diagnoses while awaiting placement on an inpatient unit,• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply,• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of initial application,
