DescriptionSenior AccountantLocation: Waterloo, IASchedule: Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office)A growing organization in the professional services/industry space is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Waterloo-based team. This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, process improvement, and working closely with experienced leadership.This role will support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other core accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will also assist with audits, tax support, board reporting, and special projects tied to automation and process improvements.The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver, has a solid accounting foundation, and can work independently while also serving as a resource to more junior team members.
