Our team is dedicated to delivering high-performance mechanical systems and services while fostering long-term relationships with our clients through collaborative and cost-effective solutions.Position SummaryThe Pipefitter Journeyman is responsible for installing, fabricating, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems for commercial and industrial mechanical projects. This role performs work independently or as part of a crew, following engineered drawings, specifications, and applicable codes, while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity. The Pipefitter Journeyman also serves as a technical resource and mentor to apprentices and junior craft workers.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesFabricate, install, assemble, and repair piping systems including carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, and PVCRead, interpret, and work from blueprints, isometrics, schematics, and shop drawingsPerform pipe cutting, threading, grooving, fitting, rigging, and alignmentInstall piping systems for HVAC, hydronic, chilled water, heating hot water, steam, and process piping applicationsPerform and/or assist with pipe welding, brazing, soldering, and testing as requiredVerify system layout, elevations, slopes, and tolerances prior to and during installationConduct pressure testing and system inspections to ensure quality and code complianceObserve and comply with all OSHA safety standards, company safety policies, and jobsite requirementsCommunicate effectively with foremen, superintendents, project managers, and other tradesMentor apprentice pipefitters by providing guidance, training, and hands‑on instructionMaintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe mannerQualificationsJourneyman Pipefitter license or recognized journeyman‑level experienceMinimum 4–6 years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experienceStrong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methodsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficient in reading construction drawings and technical documentationBasic math skills including fractions, measurements, and layout calculationsAbility to lift, move, and position materials up to 50 lbs and work in varied environmental conditionsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationBenefitsCompetitive pay and incentives.Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance.Paid holidays and vacation.401(k) Plan with multiple investment options.Training and Development Programs.Company-paid Employee Assistance Program.Employee discount programs.Company-paid and voluntary life insurance.Company-paid and voluntary accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D).Company-paid short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability.Healthcare reimbursement account and dependent care reimbursement account.Vehicle discount purchase programs.DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
