Laundry Aide

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center - Beaumont is looking for a Laundry Aide to join the team! Experience is not required, but preferred. We will provide on-the-job training. Must have a positive, cheerful attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service to the home and its residents.RESPONSIBILITIES:Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts;Operates commercial washing machines and dryers;Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers;Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts;Keeps accurate records of linen inventory;Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing;Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner;Follows all company policies and procedures;Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs;Delivers laundry as specified;Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights;Requirements:Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.Ability to work independently.Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethicAbility to work effectively with the residents and personnelLaundry experience is a plus!
