Laundry Aide

Laundry Aide Beaumont is looking for a Laundry Aide to join the team! Experience is not required, but preferred. We will provide on-the-job training. Must have a positive, cheerful attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service to the home and its residents. Responsibilities: Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts; Operates commercial washing machines and dryers; Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers; Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts; Keeps accurate records of linen inventory; Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing; Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner; Follows all company policies and procedures; Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs; Delivers laundry as specified; Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights; Requirements: Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc. Ability to work independently. Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel Laundry experience is a plus!
