The role involves preparing precise project bids by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation. Daily responsibilities include calculating materials, labor costs, timelines, and project budgets. The Estimator will liaise with engineers, project managers, and clients to provide accurate cost estimates and ensure alignment with project goals. Additionally, the role includes maintaining accurate records of estimates and proposals while staying updated on industry trends and pricing standards.QualificationsExperience in cost estimation, blueprint reading, and preparing detailed project proposalsStrong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate material and labor cost calculationsProficiency with estimation software, spreadsheets, and project management toolsCommunication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with team members, vendors, and clientsKnowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standardsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesPrior experience in the construction or steel fabrication industry is highly desirable
