We are looking for a skilled OB/GYN to provide temporary call coverage near Adamsburg, PA for a short-term assignment. Assignment Details: Location : Near Adamsburg, Pennsylvania Coverage Dates : November 29, 2024 - December 1, 2024 (7:00 am - 7:00 am) Coverage Type : Call only (second call/backup) Facility Type : Inpatient, Level I Trauma, supporting a high volume of obstetric cases Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : Epic Privileges : Temporary privileges available Shift Structure : 24-hour call coverage (with no supervision required) Practice Requirements: Specialty Skills : Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience Required :High-risk and low-risk pregnancy management Routine deliveries, C-sections, and complex deliveries (e.g., breech, VBAC, multiple births) Proficiency in interpreting fetal heart rate monitoring Ultrasound skills (Level I and Level II for viability and anatomy scans) Skills in minor and major gynecological surgeries, including IUD placement, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, laparoscopic procedures, and laser certification preferred Management of third- and fourth-degree laceration repairs Qualifications: License : Must be licensed in Pennsylvania Board Certification : Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; fellowship preferred but not required Certification Requirements : ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS are not required for this role Additional Information: Support Staff : Includes a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for first call coverage Patient Volume : Facility averages approximately 1,590 deliveries annually Travel & Lodging : Nearest airports include Pittsburgh and Latrobe.
