IT Solution Architect

OverviewClient is seeking an IT Solution Architect for Supply Chain and Finance to design, guide, and support enterprise technology solutions across finance and supply chain environments. This role partners with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that align with business strategy and support ongoing modernization.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end solution architecture for finance and supply chain applications aligned to business goalsAssess current application landscapes and recommend modernization, integration, and improvement opportunitiesEnsure solutions align with security, data governance, and enterprise architecture standardsPartner with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutionsProvide guidance on financial systems including OneStream, SAP cFIN, and related enterprise platformsLead technical direction for implementations, enhancements, and system integrationsSupport escalated issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and long-term application stabilityContribute to architecture standards, design patterns, and best practicesMaintain architecture documentation including roadmaps, diagrams, functional specifications, and integration modelsEvaluate emerging technologies and support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiativesEssential Qualifications, Skills, and TechnologiesBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect supporting financial systemsProven experience architecting solutions in enterprise finance and/or supply chain environmentsDeep knowledge of financial platforms such as OneStream, SAP cFIN, Central Finance, or similar toolsFamiliarity with SAP finance and supply chain modulesStrong understanding of systems integration, data flows, and enterprise application ecosystemsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts in clear business termsStrong problem-solving, stakeholder partnership, and execution skillsPreferred Skills or ExperienceExperience in a global, matrixed organizationUnderstanding of data governance, security protocols, and architecture frameworksExperience leading collaborative solution workshops and stakeholder discussionsWork DetailsLocation: Remote; candidates local to Corning, NY and Charlotte, NC are preferred, but other locations will be consideredWork Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ESTFlexibility: Some after-hours work may be required as neededContract Length: One year anticipated assignment with possible extension based on demandTravel: Up to 25% travel to Corning, NY, estimated at one week per month based on project needNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
