Job Title: Data Readiness Lead ERP TransformationLocation: Remote - Candidates local to Client, NY preferred, however, candidates in all US locations may be considered for remote work. Candidates must be willing to support EST hours.Schedule:Full-time (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST). Flexibility required to support global project teams.Position OverviewThe Data Readiness Lead plays a critical role within ERP transformation projects, ensuring that data migrated into SAP S/4HANA is accurate, compliant, and ready for business use at go-live. This role partners closely with project leadership and business data owners to reduce data risk, ensure data quality, and prevent post-go-live disruptions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive data cleansing activities in collaboration with business data ownersMonitor, track, and report data quality throughout the project lifecycleEnsure adherence to enterprise data standards during design and data mappingTrack and manage data defects, issues, and remediation across load cyclesCoordinate data approvals, sign-offs, and compliance documentationPartner with project leadership and data migration teams to assess readinessIdentify and escalate data risks that may impact go-liveSupport business users through training and data readiness communicationRecommend improvements to data readiness frameworks and processesContract Role OverviewIndependent contractor role with no direct reportsResponsible for execution and delivery of assigned data readiness activitiesOperates with autonomy while aligning with project governance and standardsProvides risk identification, transparency, and recommendations to leadershipNo direct authority over enterprise policies or standardsPerformance MetricsNo data-related audit findingsNo critical data issues impacting operations post go-liveMinimal project disruption due to data quality issuesReduction in data defects across data load cyclesClear visibility into data quality and readiness throughout the projectRequired QualificationsBachelor s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience5 7+ years of experience in data migration, IT, or data qualityStrong knowledge of data cleansing, validation, and quality measurement practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and act on business riskAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teamsSelf-motivated with a strong sense of urgencyPreferred QualificationsExperience working independently in large-scale transformation programsAdvanced experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration and related interfacesStrong project management and delivery experienceAbility to communicate effectively with senior leadershipHighly organized and detail-oriented
