Tax Supervisor

ResponsibilitiesKforce's client in Prince Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements and support our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities: Review and prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations Manage multiple tax engagements and ensure deadlines are met Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients Research complex tax issues and deliver clear recommendations Serve as a primary point of contact for clients Supervise, mentor, and review the work of staff accountantsRequirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA license 5+ years of public accounting tax experience 3+ years of supervisor experience Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations Excellent communication and leadership skillsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
