Our platform integrates cutting-edge AI assistants, RAG pipelines, and automation workflows to improve outcomes and reduce administrative burden across agencies nationwide.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a highly experienced Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js, React, AWS, and agentic AI architectures to help us scale our infrastructure and expand the intelligence of our AI assistant. You’ll take ownership of backend performance, cloud architecture, and multi-agent orchestration while also contributing to frontend product development.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and optimize Node.js backend services and React frontend components.Scale API and WebSocket infrastructure to handle rapid user growth and data throughput.Architect AWS services (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS/Mongo, S3, CloudFront, etc.) for security, scalability, and cost efficiency.Integrate and manage multiple AI vendors (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Pinecone, etc.) to support complex agentic workflows.Develop, deploy, and monitor multi-agent RAG pipelines for our AI assistant.Implement caching, observability, and performance improvements across the stack.Collaborate with leadership to design new features, improve DevOps workflows, and enforce important security/compliance protocols.Requirements5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.Strong proficiency with Node.js, Express, React, and modern frontend frameworks.Experience with AWS architecture and deployment.Deep understanding of AI agent frameworks, vector databases, and tool-calling ecosystems.Strong background in scalable API design and distributed systems.Solid understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving startup.Nice to HaveExperience with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or LangChain.Familiarity with RAG, vector stores, and multi-modal pipelines.Experience building SaaS platforms or justice/public-sector technology.Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Redis, and MongoDB.What We Offer$120k cash base, benefits including health insurance, and a VERY meaningful equity packageHighly collaborative in-person culture.Opportunity to shape a rapidly growing AI company serving a critical mission.Hands-on work with cutting-edge AI infrastructure at scale.
