This is an Evening Pastry Cook Position ****Brought to you from Monte-Carlo, Beefbar offers a selection of creative street food, main courses, and sides divided into three categories - beef, reef, and leaf. It's luxury you can feel and savor.Beefbar, a premier upscale restaurant, is seeking an experienced and passionate Evening Pastry Cook to join our team for the 2pm - 10pm shift. This full-time position plays a vital role in preparing delectable pastry items and maintaining our high standards of quality and service during the evening hours.Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:Prepare pastry menu items from start to finish for evening service, including preparation of ingredients, cooking, and platingAssist with basic prep duties as directed by the Pastry Chef for evening serviceMaintain knowledge of products, ingredients, allergens, and sourcingEnsure proper storage and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas during evening shiftsCollaborate with the Pastry Chef and other front and back of house evening teamsComplete evening shift opening and closing side work checklists dailyComply with the Department of Health and workplace safety regulationsPerform other duties as assigned by management during evening shiftsRequirements:2+ years of experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant environment, preferably evening shiftsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift, move, and carry heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs)Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededExcellent teamwork and communication skillsKnowledge of BeefBar brand, culture, and productsPolished personal presentation and grooming per company standardsQualified applicants should submit their resume and a brief explanation of why they are the best fit for the evening Pastry Cook role.
