Project Superintendent (Philadelphia)

One of PA's most respected and fastest growing bridge General Contractors is seeking a Safety Superintendent to lead field operations across heavy civil and bridge construction projects.This leadership role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while mentoring field teams and driving operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all field operations for bridge and heavy civil construction projects.Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety, QA/QC, and company standards.Lead workforce planning, project logistics, constructability reviews, and schedule execution.Coordinate with project teams to resolve field challenges and maintain production goals.Champion site safety programs, training, inspections, and compliance documentation.Support preconstruction planning, estimating, risk mitigation, and site-specific safety plans.Mentor Superintendents and Foremen and support recruiting and team development.Maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, engineers, and stakeholders.Qualifications10+ years of experience in heavy civil, bridge construction.Deep understanding of construction means/methods, scheduling, logistics, and safety compliance.OSHA 30 Certification required and understanding of other Safety polices.Heavy equipment operation experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience preferred.Proficient with construction management and office technology platforms.A real opportunity to join a team committed to delivering complex civil infrastructure projects with safety, quality, and execution at the forefront.
