Job Title: Contract Buyer / Procurement Specialist (SAP)Duration: Until May 30 (Potential for Extension)Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)Position OverviewA leading industrial organization is seeking a contract Buyer / Procurement Specialist to provide short-term support for material procurement activities. This is a fully remote opportunity designed for someone who can step in quickly, operate independently, and leverage SAP to support purchasing functions.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP procurement processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal ramp-up time.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute purchase orders and manage procurement transactions within SAPSupport material procurement to ensure timely availability of goods and servicesCoordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to track orders and resolve issuesMaintain accurate procurement data, documentation, and system updatesAssist in expediting orders and managing delivery timelinesEnsure compliance with procurement policies and proceduresQualificationsProven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain rolesHands-on experience using SAP for procurement activities (required)Strong understanding of purchase order lifecycle and vendor coordinationAbility to work independently in a remote environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP MPC (Materials Planning & Control) moduleBackground in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial environmentsAbility to quickly onboard and contribute with minimal supervisionWhat We’re Looking ForSomeone available to start immediately and commit through the contract durationA self-starter who can hit the ground runningDetail-oriented and responsive in a remote work settingFlexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
