CNC Machinist

Job Description The CNC Machinist operates mill and lathe CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to specifications. This individual plays a key role as an individual contributor in setting up machines, calibrating tools, and ensuring product quality through thorough inspections. The role involves following, modifying, and creating CNC programs, as well as performing routine machine maintenance during day or night shifts. ResponsibilitiesOperate mill and lathe CNC machines safely and efficientlySet up machines and calibrate tools for each production runInspect parts for quality and adherence to blueprintsRead and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate productionTroubleshoot machine issues and resolve problems promptlyModify existing CNC programs and create new programs as neededPerform routine maintenance to maintain optimal machine performance Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in CNC machiningProficiency in CNC programming and G-CodeStrong blueprint reading and precision measurement skillsKnowledge of machine maintenance and quality control processesMechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilityHigh attention to detail and commitment to safety awarenessCompany DescriptionManufacturing excellence starts from within.
