CNC Machinist
TITLE: CNC Machinist - Milling Experience TYPE: Direct Hire LOCATION: Langhorne, PA area ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Onsite START DATE: April/May 2026 SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join the second shift manufacturing team. This role is responsible for producing precision components used in high-performance industrial equipment. The position requires expertise in CNC machining operations, including setup, program adjustments, and troubleshooting to achieve tight tolerances and consistent product quality. Perks of the role include:Competitive payVery good health benefits at no cost to yourself7.5% 401k contribution is given by employer - no employee contribution necessaryQuarterly and year end bonusesCompany stocks (ESOP)100% tuition reimbursementWorking in a modern, clean, air conditioned facility MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESSet up, test, and operate CNC lathes and related machining equipment such as milling machines, grinders, and gear shaping equipment.Deburr finished components to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments to ensure all parts meet blueprint specifications and tolerance requirements.Monitor production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and product quality.Accurately record labor time and maintain required manufacturing documentation.Diagnose machining issues, implement corrective actions, and recommend tooling or process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while performing basic preventive maintenance on equipment.Support general shop operations and assist other departments as production needs require.Verify that all manufacturing documentation, inspection tools, and revision levels are correct prior to beginning production.Operate multiple machines simultaneously when cycle times allow.Provide technical guidance and training to other machinists on equipment setup and operation.Ensure adherence to productivity, safety, and quality standards. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.7-10 years of experience setting up and operating CNC equipment including turning, milling, grinding, or gear shaping machines.Experience making program adjustments, tool offsets, and compensations during machining operations.Strong mentoring abilities and willingness to assist with training other machinists.Extensive knowledge of precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).Reliable attendance and punctuality.Advanced understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), machining principles, cutting tools, and thread standards.Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.Ability to work independently using blueprints, sketches, written procedures, or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.Familiarity with mechanical drafting and CAD software such as SolidWorks is beneficial.Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to work overtime when operational demands require it.Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and ability to work effectively within team environments.Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, technical instructions, and maintenance documentation in English.Basic computer proficiency.
