Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in fabrication, machining, or finishing operations Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment, tube lasers, or industrial washing systems Strong ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and process improvement skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with passivation, chemical cleaning, or surface treatment processes Experience supporting greenfield startups or large equipment installations Familiarity with automation systems and laser cutting technology Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred Key Responsibilities Lead the setup, layout, installation, and commissioning of fabrication and finishing equipment Support equipment selection, procurement, validation, and production startup activities Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for fabrication, cleaning, washing, and passivation operations Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation Establish process controls, inspection points, and quality standards to ensure repeatable production results Support tube laser setup, programming coordination, troubleshooting, and process optimization Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and automation vendors on equipment installations and upgrades Improve material flow, fixturing, and automated handling systems Troubleshoot production, equipment, and quality issues to minimize downtime and scrap Analyze manufacturing data including cycle times, yield, uptime, scrap, and rework metrics Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, SMED, and poka-yoke activities Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and chemical handling requirements Why This Opportunity?
