Retail Store Manager

Bona Fide is a general store rooted in sustainabilty. We care about what we sell and who we sell it to. We are looking for someone that wants to be there own boss, works well independently and can commit long term (at least 2 years) There is a potential to have 1 or 2 other employees working with you but to start it would just be you 5 days a week. Hours/Schedule will be determined during the hiring process but weekends are a must to start. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. You will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude. Managing the Store Engage with every customer Maintain superior product knowledge Maintain and orderly appearance throughout the sales floor Open and Close the store Handle Online Orders Inventory Control Understand and execute all POS processes Generate Opportunities & Social Engagement Aid in generating social media content and advertising Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence Maintain exceptional knowledge on eco-friendly market trends Strategize growth opportunities Increase Brand Awareness Assist in organizing and executing networking events Drive consistent traffic to our ecommerce site Monitor and update 3rd party site profiles and reviews Explore new ways to engage and increase revenue What we are looking for in you: Retail experience A love for Downtown Concord The desire to grow our business and yourself Exceptional organizational and project management abilities A visual eye and design aesthetic that aligns with our image and brand Confidence in social interactions Written and verbal communication skills Tech and social media savvy Knowledgeable about zero waste products and lifestyle Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): What sustainable products do you currently use?
