Job Description We are Hiring Now...An Experienced Strong Residential Leasing Agent to join our growing team Immediately!You will handle all leasing at the 182 apartment garden community apartments. There is significant growth potential in this position. This candidate will work with the Property Manager and team to provide great service, meet with prospects and conduct tours, execute leasing paperwork/contracts, and follow up with leads to generate traffic to the community.SPANISH Speaking BILINGUAL is PREFERREDResponsibilities:List all residential vacanciesHandle all agreements and lease documents with tenantsHost open houses and other eventsPrepare market analysis to help determine the current market valueActively engage prospects and relay pertinent information about amenitiesTake diligent notes and record specific details about prospects' needs and wants for their future homeReport to Property Manager with updates and list of duties to be completedStay up-to-date on *special offers* which may change on a daily or monthly basisResearch surrounding area to adequately communicate benefits to living in the areaAdministrative tasks where neededMarketing and Posting on Craigslist, Social Media, and online platformsWebsite UpdatesQualifications:*** Residential Leasing experience Required***Familiarity with real estate contracts and leasesExperience with AppFolio/Yardi preferredAbility to build rapport with tenants, qualify prospects, and close leasesStrong negotiation skillsAbility to build rapportExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSCHEDULE - MONDAY-FRIDAY and Saturdays40 Hours Per Week-Must be able to work Weekends as neededAll candidates will be background screened and must be eligible to work in the United States.Equal Opportunity EmployerCompany DescriptionSet in the Historic Alexandria, Mount Vernon Apartments offers One, Two, or Three-bedroom Garden-style apartment homes that include air conditioning and cable-ready connections.
