Manager, Drivers of Health
Job DescriptionThis role helps shape and execute the Drivers of Health portfolio covering social determinants of health such as transportation and food/nutrition. Responsible for translating strategy into effective pilots, strong business integration, and measurable learning that can succeed within real health care and insurance operating environments. Leads day-to-day execution of Drivers of Health work, directly manages team members and operates with significant autonomy in a highly matrixed environment. This role provides consistent leadership and proactive management of the Drivers of Health portfolio, anticipating risks and dependencies before they disrupt momentum.WhatYou'llDo
Partner with the Director to shape and evolve Drivers of Health strategy, including pilot design and prioritization
Translate strategy into actionable pilots, partnerships, and operational plans aligned with business needs
Lead execution of the Drivers of Health portfolio, ensuring pilots stay on track despite shifting priorities
Sequence and manage work across pilots to balance speed, capacity, and learning continuity
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints before they impact delivery
Embed evaluation, research, and measurement into pilot design to drive learning and scalability
Manage and develop team members, setting clear priorities, expectations, and performance standards
Drive alignment, accountability, and momentum across a highly matrixed set of stakeholders
Build strong partnerships across product, finance, clinical, operations, and customer teams
Apply healthcare and business acumen to ensure pilots are operationally and financially viable
Align Drivers of Health work with enterprise initiatives and broader business strategies
Manage external partner relationships, ensuring performance, accountability, and alignment with internal prioritiesWhat You Bring
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
8+ years of experience in related field.
In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment
Experience managing projects or portfolios with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Familiarity with drivers of health/social determinants of health initiativesBonus Points
Experience in health insurance, value-based care, or healthcare delivery models
Experience designing or managing pilots, innovation programs, or new product initiatives
People leadership experience, including direct management and team development
