Job Control Language (JCL), Mainframe DB, IBM DB2, COBOL, Mainframe Systems 1. Job Control Language (JCL) – Must be able to write structured jobs. Debug JCL errors. Understand Schedule IDs 2. Mainframe DB – Understand relational databases. Understand, code and debug SQL statements. Understand keys and indexes 3. IBM DB2 – (Same as #2 above) 4. COBOL – Code and debug standard COBOL programs with moderate complexity. 5. Mainframe Systems – Experienced in ISPF, FileManager, CA7, Syncsort sFTP
Skills Preferred:
Engineer 3 Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang. 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development
