Lead Systems Administrator

DescriptionSAIC is looking for an ambitious Lead Systems Administrator/VMWare SME like you! Candidates will join a fast-paced and growing team of System Administrators in supporting a 24/7 high visibility Watch Center. In addition to maintaining a private Customer Cloud, candidates should expect to gain experience in new administration technologies; tackle individual and group projects; work closely with other IT professionals; and participate in a growing ever-changing mission.QualificationsActive TS/SCI with Poly in order to be consideredMinimum of 10 years of relevant IT experienceBachelor's Degree or commensurate experience in place of degree will be consideredHigh degree of experience building, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, tuning, and troubleshooting VMware virtual infrastructuresExperience with the following aspects of Windows Domain Administration:Active DirectoryGroup PolicyDNSDHCPWSUSExperience with any of the following virtualization products and services: Citrix, Nutanix or HyperVExperience managing Windows Server 2012/2016/2019; Windows Client 10/11Working knowledge of basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWillingness to work on a 24/7 weekly on-call rotationWillingness to participate in WMA or CONUS travel (<10%)Ability to rack/stack/install physical equipmentDesired QualificationsExperience as a Team Lead or SupervisorVMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)Experience with EMC enterprise storage arraysExperience with designing/implementing COOP plansExperience administering Red Hat derivative Linux distributionsJ-18808-Ljbffr
