Physician Assistant | Surgery - Vascular Location: Syracuse, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Description Assignment Duration: ASAP start | Minimum 3 months Practice Setting: Inpatient only (no clinic) Schedule: Variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends Availability: Full-time availability required Call: 1–2 days/week (overnight emergency OR call only, taken from home) Patient Population: Adult & geriatric Average Census: Service census ~15–20 patients; rounds on 3–5 patients/day Autonomy: APP will work autonomously Supervision: Supervising surgeon present EMR: Epic Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 1 month Required Duties Suture removal Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Assist in surgery Write prescriptions Coordinate patient care Rounding Pre-operative physical examinations Required Procedures Intraoperative first assisting Removal of dialysis catheters Requirements Requirements NP or PA certification (NCCPA or ANCC/AANP) NPs must have RNFA certification Active New York State license at time of submission BLS & ACLS (required) No new graduates – must have vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience with strong medical management skills Full-time availability only Clean background and malpractice history NPDB Self-Query (pulled within the same month) Benefits Benefits & Reimbursement Flight Hotel Rental Car
