Neuro ICU ACNP/PA Opportunity in Comprehensive Stroke Center We are seeking an experienced ACNP or PA to join a high-acuity Neuroscience ICU on a locum tenens basis. This role provides inpatient care within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to managing complex neurological and neurosurgical patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide ICU-level care in a 20-bed NSICU Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management Respond to codes and manage patient admissions Deliver patient- and family-centered care to optimize outcomes Schedule: 7:00 AM ??? 7:00 PM shifts Coverage needed February through May 2026 (various dates) Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of NSICU or comparable critical care experience Acute Care Certification required Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) Proficiency with Epic EMR Why Join This Opportunity: Work alongside 10 neurosurgeons and 20+ neurologists across multiple subspecialties Be part of a robust team including 4 physicians and 11 APPs providing 24/7 coverage Practice at a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading neuroscience program while delivering impactful care to critically ill patients.
