Sr Sales & Operations Specialist - CCICox Communications is searching for a Senior Sales and Operations Specialist to work at our retail stores. Someone who is passionate about focusing on areas like inventory management, loss prevention, merchandising, and operational success. Keeping your eyes on supply chain management and merchandising initiatives so Cox can stay in-stock and efficient is something that's in your wheelhouse. You might be that someone special we're looking for.This job requires you to follow the retail routine of working some evenings, weekends, and holidays. You'll also need to be comfortable with reporting to your Store Manager, as well as taking guidance from the Assistant Store Manager. We'll look to you to serve as our Manager on Duty from time to time, opening/closing the store and offering up potent product knowledge and coaching to other sales reps. Our stores will need you to shine as our product knowledge and inventory expert.As a Senior Sales & Operations Specialist, we'll look to you bring your A-game to the following responsibilities:Make sure our inventory is accurate by performing activities such as inventory cycle counts, stock replenishment, and store auditsMerchandise the store in accordance to planogram and corporate guidelinesManage inventory which includes but is not limited to store-to-store transfers, returns and receivingAssist with special event execution including marketing support and inventory planningAssess escalated wireless issues and provide solutions for technical problems and questionsSupport post-purchase onboarding, device activation, and content transfers for wireless salesReach out to customers for in store pick up of online orders and return and exchange related issuesWork directly with Supply Chain Management for order fulfillment and variance requestsRemain current with new products and technologies by attending necessary trainings for job functionsAssist with guiding accessory performance and salesEnsure our store sales and retention targets are metProvide ongoing coaching to Solutions Specialists to ensure timely and actionable feedback; serves as product knowledge expert and is a resource to all store employeesOpen and Close the store as needed to serve as manager on duty when the Store Manager, Sr Sales Rep, and/or ASM is not on dutyIt's a specialist role, fit for someone with some very special skills. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experience in a related fieldPreferred:Previous experience with store operational dutiesExperience selling Wireless/Mobile products highly preferredFluency in Spanish, both written and spokenLeadership experience is idealAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environmentAbility to be mobile within the store to assist with troubleshooting and device activationComputer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessoriesAbility to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventoryEmployees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
