Contracts Coordinator

Job SummaryIn this role, you will support the legal department by drafting cover letters, subcontract addendums, and notices, as well as assisting General Counsel in carrying out all other duties and responsibilities as directed by General Counsel. You will also issue all Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, and PSAs for every project, in coordination with the Pre-Construction team. Position ResponsibilitiesSubcontract Issuance and Administration (includes all Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, and PSAs for every Project, and ensure timely completion.Careful and efficient coordination of Buy out process with Pre-construction team to ensure timely issuance and execution of all subcontracts for each project Draft cover letters,subcontract addendums, and noticesPrepare summaries for General Counsel’s review regarding Owner contract terms which need to be incorporated into the subcontract templatesEnsure all deadlines and conditions described in contracts are metAssist General Counsel in the drafting of contract summaries and checklistsEnsure contracts are reviewed and executed in a timely mannerHelp organize physical and electronic legal department documentsOffer general administrative support for the legal departmentFile Sunbiz renewals for all Straticon related entitiesAssist General Counsel with scheduling agenda itemsRequired SkillsStrong organization skillsAbility to identify and summarize problems and issues, and analyze them for resolutionExcellent written/oral communication skillsDetail-orientedWilling to bring forth problems and concernsBachelor’s degree or higherSkilled at using software and technologyResourcefulnessMultitaskingTime managementPreferred Skills and experienceParalegal certificate preferredAdobe AcrobatDocuSignNavigating public records websitesPrior work experience in a law firm or similar environment
