Keen Search & Staffing is hiring contract accounting professionals for an On-Site Project in San Francisco, CAThis is a great opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a structured, government-related environment.Important: Due to the nature of this engagement, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens and able to meet federal security clearance requirements.What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking professionals with a strong foundation in accounting or financial management who can operate in a detail-driven, compliance-focused setting.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related fieldAt least 3+ years of accounting or financial management experiencePrior experience supporting federal or government-related projects is highly preferredKey Knowledge Areas:Ideal candidates will bring experience or exposure to:Financial analysis and reportingReviewing tax returns, bank records, escrow, and real estate documentationDebt collection processes (garnishments, receiverships, etc.)Federal budgeting principlesBusiness entity structures (LLCs, partnerships, trusts)Activity-based costing and business case developmentTools like Excel, Access, and database systemsCore Responsibilities:In this role, you may be responsible for:Evaluating financial compliance with government standardsMonitoring obligations and expenditures, identifying and resolving discrepanciesPreparing reports, charts, and analytical materials to support decision-makingSecurity RequirementsMust be able to pass a DOJ background investigation (HSPD-12)Work cannot begin until clearance or an interim waiver is grantedMust handle and protect sensitive/confidential informationWork EnvironmentOn-site in San Francisco, CAStandard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMFederal holidays observedGovernment-issued equipment providedConsistent attendance and coverage expectations requiredIf you’re interested in being considered for this upcoming project, or want to learn more, feel free to reach out or apply directly.
