For over 20 years LER has been working withcustomers across North America to meet their engineering resource challenges.We have a position for an experienced HIL test engineer to work on verificationand validation tests, documenting and analyzing the results on embedded softwarecontrols and calibration .What you will be doing:Technical documentationRegression testingDeveloping test plans, executing, documenting, etc...Create, Maintain and perform regression tests.Testing, configuration, and release of control software which involves newfeature introduction and well as current feature support.Submit PRCR's to document software issues discovered in the field.Create and maintain regression tests for group's components.Test systems using the appropriate diagnostic tools with real-time testbench capability.Support FMET (Failure Modes Effect Testing) via Systems test team.Support engine/vehicle trouble-shooting on related diagnostic fault codes.Participate in DV and PV test results reviews.System Test/Documentation/Support tasks.Create and maintain ESW test components.Embedded software testing when necessary.Automated testing, using ACCEPT bench.The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:Off-highway machineryElectronics OR controls backgroundHIL testingMATLAB Simulink (reading of models)Calibration experienceWhat you'll get:Full benefits: medical, dental, 401K matchOngoing professional development opportunitiesFlexible Hybrid scheduleThe opportunity to work on industry leading projectsWhat you'll need to be successful:College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or otherrelevant technical disciplines.Industrial engine calibrationIndustrial engine system testEngine control system familiarization (highly desired)Six-Sigma/7-step/FMEA troubleshootingExperience with LUIS or manual load test boxesACCEPTS automated system test experience is preferred.Validation/Verification Test Plans of hardware and software features(required)Good communicator – written and verbalAn effective problem solver who is comfortable using analytical tools.Eager to learn; ask questionsSelf-motivatedSelf-manage and communicate what they are working on and issues discoveredClick the Easy Apply button to learn more.
