HVAC Duct Cleaner
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Duct Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC duct systems. This role requires physical stamina, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesClean HVAC duct systems, vents, registers, dryer vents, and related equipment using specialized toolsInspect ductwork for dust, debris, mold, and other contaminantsSafely operate vacuums, brushes, blowers, and other duct-cleaning equipmentSet up and break down equipment at job sitesMaintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers about services performedFollow safety protocols and company procedures at all timesDocument work performed, including before-and-after photosAssist with minor HVAC-related tasks as needed (based on company policy and training)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsSpecific QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, or related trades is a plus but not required; training availableAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or confined spaces including attics and crawl spacesValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to successfully pass a clean background screeningBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork performed in residential and commercial indoor and outdoor environmentsRegular exposure to dust, debris, insulation, and varying temperaturesFrequent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, respirators, and safety gogglesAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing 50 pounds or moreMust be comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, ceilings, and other restricted-access areasFrequent travel to customer job sites throughout the workdayFast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and adaptabilitySchedule & CompensationFull-time positionTypical schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as neededPay: $16-$20/hour, based on experienceBenefits Include: Health Insurance, PTO, Training, Company Vehicle, etcCompany OverviewIES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
