Our ideal team members will come to us with fresh ideas, a great personality and team spirit.Assedo Consulting provides planning and public outreach services for infrastructure projects in the planning, design, and construction phases of development.Our ideal candidate has:Bachelor’s Degree in Urban or Transportation Planning, or Engineering6 – 10 years of relevant project experience working in urban planning and community outreach Ability to independently lead project assignments;Strong teamwork skills and character;Commitment to community improvement, education, engagement and stewardship;Strong communications and problem-solving skills (written and verbal);Positive attitude and outlook.Examples of typical job duties include:Leading project and task assignments;Providing oversight and guidance to team members;Preparing project scopes, schedules and budgets;Developing and implementing outreach plans and strategies;Coordinating with clients on task assignments;Coordinating with internal and external project teams;Managing the visual presentation of technical concepts for the public;Creating GIS-based data mapping;Leading content development and data analysis efforts;Preparing recommendations based on analyzed data;Facilitating client, field and community meetings;Reviewing project databases and accompanying reports;Writing outreach and/or planning documents for projects; andMeasuring the success of outreach strategies and recommending refinements;We are conveniently located in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County, Maryland.Our staff is continually stretching, learning, improving, and growing.
