CyberSecurity Analyst

Position Overview Support our healthcare partners and help them thrive at Meduit. We are seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our security posture. In this role, you will work with tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM/IDR and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Endpoint to identify, investigate, and remediate security risks. Strong Azure security knowledge is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and respond to alerts from vulnerability scanning, endpoint security, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and intrusion detection and response (IDR) toolsMonitor and manage identity security, MFA, and Conditional Access within Azure/Entra IDDocument security investigations, findings, and remediation actionsCollaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to resolve security issues and improve security controlsEssential SkillsStrong knowledge of Azure security, identity protection, and endpoint securityHands-on experience with Rapid7 and Microsoft security tools, including:Microsoft Defender for Office 365Microsoft Defender for EndpointMicrosoft PurviewAbility to analyze alerts, investigate incidents, and recommend security improvementsStrong documentation and communication skillsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field; bachelor’s degrees in other disciplines with demonstrated relevant professional experience may also be considered2 to 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC operationsExperience with the following tools and platforms:Microsoft Defender for Office 365Microsoft Defender for EndpointRapid7 InsightVM / IDRMicrosoft Purview (DLP, OME)Preferred QualificationsIndustry certifications, such as:Microsoft: SC-900, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500CompTIA: Security+ or CySA+EC-Council: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)Additional InformationSalary: $80,000 to $95,000 depending on skills and qualificationsLocation: RemoteAnticipated start date: 5/25/2026Internet Speed Test: A download speed of 30MB or higher & upload speed of 10MB or higher are REQUIRED.
