The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial activities, including overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and maintaining financial integrity. This role involves managing the accounting team, driving efficient financial operations, and collaborating with senior management on strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, providing detailed financial analysis, managing the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting standards, and implementing internal control policies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or CMA preferred, and at least 5 years' experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 1 year in a Controller or similar managerial role, particularly in real estate development. Applicants for the Vice President, Accounting and Finance position at the company should possess a strong understanding of GAAP and real estate development accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required, with familiarity in real estate management software being a plus.
