Responsible for communication and coordination with the project team, advanced equipment configuration, and system troubleshooting.Location -Greater Toronto AreaWhatYou'llDo:Lead the commissioning effort of large and/or complex projects as the technical expert on site or remotely, providing training, support, and ongoing development of other FEs.Implements andtrainsother field engineers and install technicians on how to implement system installations and commissioning according to the quality checklist.Create, manage, and communicate on-site progress and roadblocks by aggregating team reports and passing them forward to PM and/orclientregularly.Support projects remotely, accessing and commission AV systems byutilizinglocal support personnelTroubleshoot advanced technical issues by tracing signal flow and engaging theappropriate partiestoassistin resolving the issue.Configure AV network and coordinate clientnetwork.Create andmodifyDSP files for complex divisible systems with an emphasis on AEC optimization for videoconferencing and coordinating control objects withprogrammer.Contributeslessons learned feedback to theinstall, design, and pre-sales engineering teams to constantly improve system designs, product selection, and implementation.Archive configuration and programming files withappropriate labelingto increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the service team and adaptpreviousconfigurations for new projects to increase efficiency.Maintain and grow certifications and technical knowledge.WhatYou'llBring:Required Skills/Qualifications:Able toconcisely, consistently, and appropriately communicate with the project teamAble to manage multipleadditionalFEs and Install Techs on large sites;maintainoverall project implementation status and reporting.3+ years' experience troubleshooting complex AV and network systems from conference rooms to hybrid-live event spacesExtensive familiarity with MTR and Zoom RoomsFamiliarity with broadcast or hybrid conference-live event systemsAVIXA CTS-IAudinateDante Level 3Biamp Tesira Server and QSC Q-Sys Level 2Control certification from one or more of the following manufacturers: QSC, Extron, CrestronPreferred Skills/Qualifications:BachelorsDegreepreferredProficient with Microsoft Office 365Self-starter and requires little direct oversight to perform tasksExperience leading teamsExcellent customer service skillsField installation and/or system design experienceTraining small to medium sized groupsontechnical system operationAVIXA CTS-DShure Integrated Systems and RF certificationsCompetencies:Self-starter thatrequireslittle direct oversight in performing tasks.
