The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional and modern sushi techniques, premium ingredients, and a strong sense of kitchen discipline.What You'll Do:Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls with precision and aesthetic appealEnsure freshness, quality, and proper handling of all seafood and ingredientsMaintain a clean and organized sushi station, complying with health and safety regulationsCollaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal specialsMaintain inventory and assist with ordering high-grade seafood and sushi productsInteract with guests (if applicable) in a professional, informative, and engaging mannerUphold presentation, portion, and consistency standards at all timesIdeal Candidate:3+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a fine-dining or luxury restaurantDeep knowledge of Japanese cuisine, knife techniques, and fish preparationAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and passion for aesthetics and flavor balanceStrong communication and teamwork skillsAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysPowered by JazzHR
