A privately owned automotive parts business in the Greenwood, IN area is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting operations, modernize financial systems, and support strategic financial decision-making. This role offers full ownership of the accounting function within a stable, growing small business.Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityKey ResponsibilitiesLead all daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions , including:Full-cycle accounting: entries, reconciliations, reportingDaily bank reconciliations and cash managementACH processing, check cutting, and vendor communicationCredit card reconciliation and discrepancy resolutionSales tax reporting and complianceYear-end reconciliation and coordination with CPACash flow statements, forecasting, and financial analysisWeekly payroll for 15–20 employeesSupport purchasing/receiving with financial oversightAssist leadership with budgeting and long-term planningCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $80,000–$85,000Healthshare program (teledoc, dental, labs covered; $1500 deductible)3% 401(k)At-cost partsPTO: 1 week in year one (negotiable)Supportive, family-oriented small-business cultureQualifications xywuqvpExperience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Bookkeeper, or similar roleStrong reconciliation, cash flow, and financial reporting skillsExperience with QuickBooks or similar accounting softwareAbility to lead a system upgrade or software transitionSmall-business, dealership, or multi-location experience is a plusReal estate or rental property accounting experience is helpful but not required
