Mechanical AssemblersNow Hiring: Mechanical Assemblers – PLANO, GARLAND & MCKINNEYSchedule:1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMPay Rate: $19/hourPosition Summary:The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packaging them according to specifications. This role requires meeting production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Duties & Responsibilities:Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and related components following work instructionsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation to build products to specificationSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipmentMaintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and reports related to discrepancies or defectsPerform basic equipment and conveyor maintenance and minor repairs as neededInventory tools, parts, and supplies and coordinate with materials handlers for replenishmentConduct routine quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance with company standardsIdentify, troubleshoot, and escalate quality or production issues to supervisorsDemonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a safety-focused attitudeSupport production demands by adhering to scheduled hours, overtime requirements, and assigned break periodsPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read measuring tools and follow written instructionsComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as neededMust be dependable and maintain good attendanceSteel toe boots requiredApply today to get started!
