By joining Ames, you will be working with talented colleagues at an award-winning, nationally recognized top65 general contractor.Key Duties and Responsibilities Performing tasks involving physical labor /or Carpentry on construction sitesGeneral cleanup of the siteUnloading, handling and stockpiling materialPlacing, pushing, pulling and shovelingOther duties as assigned.QualificationsKnowledgeable in OSHA standardsWillingness to learn and accept direction from supervisorsAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsMust have a valid Driver's LicenseAbility to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power toolsFrequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbsCommunication and interpersonal skills are a mustAbility to manage time, multitask and prioritizeWorking ConditionsTravel - This project is located in Charlotte, NC, with the potential of other locations throughout the Eastern Region.Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
