Key Responsibilities: Setup and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, live tooling. Optimize set up times, maximize machine utilization Ability to run CNC vertical mills/robo drills Understand specifications of the tasks by reading blueprints, route instructions Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments when needed Setup CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volume of parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets and inspect parts with a high degree of precision Follow in-process part inspection process, notify Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance. Communicate with superintends, managers, production control, quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues. Document all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shifts Check and perform preventive maintenance daily What are we looking for? Key Competencies: Know how to use all required measuring equipment which includes caliper, gauges, to ensure quality Proficient math skills Ability to document machining procedures Knowledge of metals, part holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling Experience in Okuma, Mazak, Mori lathe machines will be preferred Simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English Physically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies Consistently stand for an entire shift Strong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledge Willingness to be trained with a desire to learn Ability to work in a team setting Great work ethics and reliable Positive attitude Education - Required, High School or better Experience - Preferred, Five years of CNC Lathe Setup, programming, and operating.
