Distribution Operations Support Coordinator, Cherry Hill

The Distribution Operations Support Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring DC is in compliance with OSHA standards, company policies & standard work. The Coordinator will support operations & Leadership through safety initiatives, learning & development of DC staff, with strong focus on miscellaneous Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) requirements.You Will:Monitor DC is compliant with all OSHA standards & regulationsOwn and support all safety requirements- safety committee meetings, safety cross, initiate and track required training, forklift inspections, DC safety walks & inspections, etcEnforce housekeeping standards and initiate and maintain 5S-ing of the DCAssist & support onboarding of all new hires from day-1 experience through 1st 2-4 weeks of employment.Monitor performance of OAs in direct path through observation & performance analysisMiscellaneous office responsibilities including, but not limited to: clerk responsibilities, data entry, records filing, and other miscellaneous office tasks as needed.Handle, scan and move product in a safe and well-organized mannerStand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shiftsUse carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move productLift up to 49 poundsHandle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcoholWork in freezer locations periodically throughout shiftsLoad and unload freightOperate manual and electric material handling equipment such as hand jacksMove product to storage area with proper equipment and stack and store merchandiseProcess orders including picking, checking, sorting, and consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing loading and shipment confirmation of customer orders.Checks and verifies freight for accuracy and damageRecord information such as weight, time, and date packagedObserve all safety procedures and promote a safety cultureEnsure the Standards of Conduct policy is followed to provide a safe and inclusive work environmentYou Have:Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures & standard work.Clear and professional communication skills.Basic computer skills for logging and monitoring activity, pulling data & reports, knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Office.Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in learning & development, EH&S, logistics, or operations support is a plus.Licensed forklift operator preferred or willing to receive training / certification.Work Schedule & Pay:* Day / Morning Shift: 10:00am - 6:30pm (with flexibility to start earlier or later as needed)* Pay Rate: $23/hrBenefits:* We want to help our employees stay safe and healthy.
