Sr System Engineer

Job TitleJob Description & Skill Requirement: High Level Skillset:Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, Hyper V, Scripting (mandatory)AWS DevOps - EC2, S3, Lambda, Fargate, IAM (good to have)Wix (good to have)Detailed JD:Manage and support Windows 10/11/Server and Linux servers (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting)Configure, maintain, and monitor VMware/Hyper-V and cloud-based systems (AWS)Build, deploy, and maintain Docker/containerized applications and orchestrated environments (ECS/Kubernetes a plus)Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)Apply cybersecurity best practices, including hardening, monitoring, and vulnerability managementCollaborate with developers, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth software solution for end customersTroubleshoot complex system and application issues in hybrid environmentsDocument infrastructure, deployments, and proceduresRequired Skills & Experience:4-6 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or related roleStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, etc.) along with WixExperience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC)Hands-on with Docker/containers; exposure to orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS) is a plusFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)Proficiency in scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (network security, IAM, patching, vulnerability scanning)Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skillsNice to Have:Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)Background in regulated environments (medical devices, pharma, finance) and familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA)
