Crane Operator

Crane OperatorADF International, a North American leader in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of complex steel structures and modular construction, is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator for our steel fabrication plant in Great Falls, Montana. We are looking for reliable candidates who can work well as part of a team. Overhead Crane Operators will use the traveling overhead crane to manipulate material. What We Offer: Competitive starting pay between $23.62-$26.43 per hour A nightshift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked after 4:30 pm Pension Plan 100% Employer Paid Insurance Premium Options for medical and dental Employer Paid Protective Equipment & Consumables Eight (8) paid holidays Sick Leave & Vacation General Expectations and Responsibilities: Follow ADF safety procedures and practices. Utilize the overhead crane to manipulate materials. Proficient computer skills. Ability to fill out material movement sheets. Understands pitching and catching using a multi or tandem crane. Ability to lead complex crane operations. Inspect cranes daily and report any concerns to the Foreman or safety department. Stap and secure loads to trailers properly. Excellent situational and hazard awareness. Understands the capabilities and limits of the cranes. Able to plan and manage time effectively. Utilize the proper rigging for the task at hand. Excellent communication skills. Basic mathematic skills and mechanical knowledge. Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Any other duties assigned. Education, Training, or Work Experience: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency. 3 or more years of crane operation experience. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time. Ability to bend, squat, kneel for varying lengths of time. Ability to use hand and power tools as needed. Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist. Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 75lbs. Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.). Able to ascend/descend ladders as needed.
