TANDEM Assembly Material Handler 3rd Shift

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Automated Assembly Material Handler to join our growing team at Blum USA on the 3rd shift. Job Responsibilities As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for material replenishment for all insertion workstations and preparation of material for the next order. Additional responsibilities for this position include: Complete visual checks of material introduced into the assembly process Move in-process and completed assembled products to staging area using forklift Inspect, package and palletize finished product prior to it’s transfer to the warehouse Box making Cardboard and trash removal Blum box strapping and handling Comply with all required safe practices (i.e. hearing protection, lifting & Kevlar gloves) Job Requirements To be successful in this type of position, we need team players who bring a positive attitude to the work place and enjoy being around and working with others. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferably working with Automated Assembly machines in an industrial manufacturing environment. Additional requirements for this position include: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred Sits occasionally, 1-3 hours Stands constantly, 6-8 hours Walks occasionally, 1-3 hours Twists/Turns, Stoops/Bends, Squats/Kneels occasionally, 1-3 hours Reaches constantly, 6-8 hours Drives constantly, 6-8 hours Lifts/Carries 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 5 feet, over 40 times per shift Pushes/Pulls 1-10 lbs up to a distance of 5 feet, over 40 times per shift Pushes/Pulls 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 5 feet, 15 to 40 times per shift Use both hands to move objects for 6-8 hours per day Use a simple grasp to pick up objects with both hands for 6-8 hours per day Use both hands to finely manipulate objects for 1-3 hours per day Benefits Blum USA believes in offering their employees an excellent benefits package that includes: Hourly position with overtime Base rate $19.75 per hour to start Additional $1.00 cents per hour premium for 3rd shift Possible bonus opportunities Health (Medical and Dental) 401(k) with employer matching Flexible spending account to cover eligible out of pocket health, dental, vision expenses Three weeks vacation starting your second year on the job Term life insurance equal to annual salary at no cost to employee And more!
