Senior Tax Accountant:Hiring a Senior Tax Accountant who will play a critical role in preparing various tax returns and related tax documentation for Fiduciary Trust International clients. This tax preparer role requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. This is a hybrid role, requiring two to three days in the office (One Madison Avenue).How You Will Add ValuePrepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and gift tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and foundations.Manage the tax compliance process for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, including gathering necessary financial information, communicating with clients, and addressing tax-related inquiries.Conduct tax research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to management and clients.Assist in the preparation of estimated tax payments and extensions.Collaborate with other departments, such as wealth management and operations, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.What Will Help You Be SuccessfulBachelor's in Accounting. Master's in Taxation preferred5-7 years tax experience or more; experience preparing individual tax returns (1040 returns)In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, with a strong emphasis on preparing individual, partnership, and foundation tax returnsExperience with CCH Axcess tax preparation software and Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to internal and external stakeholdersCompensation: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary — designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
