**Manufacturing Engineer **SalaryLocation:DepartmentReports To:About Total SealPosition SummaryKey ResponsibilitiesManufacturing & Process Ownership- Own and maintain assigned manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent performance in safety, quality, delivery, and costDevelop, optimize, and document machining processes, including tooling, fixturing, and workholdingLead process validation activities and ensure production readiness for new and existing productsCreate and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentationSupport production with timely troubleshooting and resolution of technical issuesProduction Support & Equipment- Serve as the primary engineering resource for designated production areasCollaborate with Operations and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptimeSupport equipment selection, installation, and process integrationMonitor and improve key metrics such as OEE, scrap, and cycle timeQuality & Compliance- Ensure processes meet AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO, and customer-specific requirementsSupport APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP activities as neededLead and participate in root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D) for production and quality issuesImplement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrenceContinuous Improvement- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives with measurable resultsAnalyze production data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunitiesDrive cost reduction, yield improvement, and cycle time reduction projectsPromote Lean manufacturing principles and standardization across operationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field3–5 years of experience in engineering in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of machining processes, process control, and production supportExperience troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP system experience preferredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specificationsPreferred Qualifications- Experience in precision machining, automotive, aerospace, or high-reliability manufacturingFamiliarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plansLean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certificationExperience supporting CNC machining environments and process optimizationSkills & Competencies- Strong Problem-solving And Analytical CapabilitiesHands-on, proactive approach with a strong shop floor presenceEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsOrganized and detail-oriented with strong follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervisionWhat We Offer- Competitive CompensationComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO)Professional development and career growth opportunitiesA collaborative, performance-driven cultureOpportunity to contribute to cutting-edge manufacturing and aerospace expansionYou Should Be Proficient InProcess Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)Six Sigma ExperiencePPAP Process ExperienceAS9100 Experience
