Job Title: Assistant Living Director Location: Minnesota Reports To: Owner Employment Type: 25-30 Hours a monthPosition SummaryThe Assistant Living Director supports the overall management and daily operations of a small, 5-bed assisted living facility. This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance with Minnesota assisted living standards, and a safe, compassionate home environment. The Assistant Living Director works closely with staff, residents, families, and external providers to maintain excellence in care and operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & AdministrationAssist in overseeing daily facility operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioningSupport implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with Minnesota assisted living regulationsMaintain accurate records, reports, and documentationAssist with scheduling and staffing to ensure appropriate coverageResident Care & ServicesEnsure residents receive individualized, person-centered careMonitor resident well-being and coordinate care with healthcare providersAddress resident and family concerns promptly and professionallySupport admissions, assessments, and service plan developmentAssist in insuring Facility is in full compacityStaff Supervision & DevelopmentAssist in hiring, training, and supervising caregiving staffPromote a positive, team-oriented work environmentEnsure staff adherence to care standards and facility policiesProvide coaching, feedback, and performance supportCompliance & Quality AssuranceHelp maintain compliance with Minnesota Department of Health assisted living regulationsParticipate in audits, inspections, Surveys and quality improvement initiativesEnsure proper medication management practices are followed (if applicable)Monitor infection control, safety, and emergency preparedness proceduresFinancial & Resource SupportAssist with budgeting, supply management, and cost controlMonitor inventory and order necessary suppliesFlexible work from home options available.
