Ironshore is looking to hire a Wholesale Branch Executive whose territory will cover the Central and Western US (inclusive of Chicago and Texas) in addition to managing select national wholesale broker relationships. You will work with key brokers to drive profitable growth and represent the Ironshore and Global Risk Solutions (GRS) brand and all business segments that engage in the wholesale market. Additionally, they will partner with internal leadership from all segments across GRS to foster communication and partnership in how GRS approaches the market and drives ease of doing business for broker partners.Responsibilities:Clearly understand both the underwriting appetite and business strategy of all facets of Ironshore and articulate and support in the marketplaceFoster mutually beneficial relationships with grow and core brokers in your assigned region and drive profitable growthLead all aspects of development for broker facing/client facing marketing communication and strategic plans, including communications and eventsStructure and lead cross sell initiatives that align with regional growth plans and market opportunitiesProspect and develop new broker relationships identifying new areas of opportunityAlign with overall GRS strategy, work with peers, business, and Regional Distribution Executive to develop strategies that support GWP, new business, submission and retention targetsDrive collaboration internally, encouraging an environment focused on shared GRS successMaintain close relations with business leaders and underwriting org, keeping communication channels clear to ensure alignment and keep executive management informed of areas of concern and/or opportunityQualifications10+ Years of relevant Insurance Industry experience. Underwriting experience. Strong relationships with senior leadership at key brokerages. Strong understanding of product offerings and relationships with profit center leadership. Business development/sales skills. Leadership skills ability to influence without authority. Interpersonal/social skills able to foster trusted relationships. People management skills able to nurture professional growth; fosters team effectivenessUndergraduate degree preferred Travel required (~25%, varies by region).About UsPay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
