The organization’s mission is to provide a beacon of hope and stability, helping mothers in crisis build better futures for themselves and their children.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area for a Shelter Resident Manager. The Shelter Resident Manager will oversee daily shelter operations, providing direct support to residents and maintaining a supportive and structured environment. Responsibilities include case management, connecting residents with appropriate resources, coordinating and conducting trainings, and managing day-to-day communications. The Shelter Resident Manager will also ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and assist residents in progressing toward independent living and self-sufficiency.QualificationsStrong Communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and effectively interact with residents, staff, and community members.Experience in Case Management and Social Services to provide individualized support and connect residents to essential resources.Ability to deliver Training and guidance to residents, empowering them with life skills and tools for independent living.Proficiency in Research to provide effective solutions and improve service offerings for residents in need.Compassionate and empathetic approach to understanding and meeting the needs of individuals in crisis.Experience working with nonprofit organizations or in a similar social services setting is a plus.
