Location SD, Sioux Falls Specialty Cardiology - Advanced Heart Failure Visas Accepted N/A Practice Details Sanford Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an integrated practice including a team of 9 cardiologists, 1 of which is Advanced Heart Failure Certified, and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons.The ideal candidate will participate in the development of a LVAD and ECMO program, the management of inpatient ECMO, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock, as well as have a robust general non-invasive cardiology practice including dedicated advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertensionoutpatient clinicsThe group provides service to inpatient, clinic and outreach locations with nurse practitioner supportGeneral Cardiology call 1:9Join a group with a well-established heart failure program who provides consultation, longitudinal outpatient management of advanced heart failure disease patients, as well as those with acute and durable mechanical support devicesExperience in medical device management of advanced heart failure patients is idealOur team participates in over 20 clinical trials, encourages and supports research endeavors, and regularly presents at national meetingsProgram includes opportunity for clinical education and research with general and interventional cardiology fellowships in a university health setting Compensation Package Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance About this Community Located in the heart of the Midwest, Sioux Falls balances an excellent quality of life with a strong economy in a safe, clean environment in southeast South Dakota.
